Coronavirus update #22

We are pleased to report we have no positive cases of Coronavirus at Maroba. However, the number of cases in our region is on the rise and we must remain highly vigilant and to continue protective arrangements.

As is our usual practice the Covid-19 team met today to review our risks and based on our most recent analysis and the further spread of the virus across Sydney and our own local area, we have determined that it is necessary to enhance the level of protection in our facility. Therefore, we will now be providing masks for those staff who are in close contact with our residents. We are also suggesting that our staff and community members consider wearing masks when they are going about their daily tasks in the community to further protect them from the risk of contracting Covid-19.

Please download our latest update here which reviews our visitation arrangements and offers some handy tips on the use of cloth masks.

Once again, we thank you for your co-operation and understanding during this difficult time.
