Coronavirus update #37

Dear Family and Friends of Maroba,

Today we watched with alarm our NSW Premier, Chief Medical Officer and Health Minister update us on the ever changing Covid-19 landscape in the Sydney area, which was initially centred around the Northern Beaches but is now encompassing the wider Sydney region. The statics jumped considerably overnight and at the time of writing, we now have 28 Covid cases of an international strain.

The Covid team have met to discuss how this will affect our visitation arrangements.

In short, we are sad to say that effective immediately all visitors who live in the Greater Sydney region or have visited the Greater Sydney region from 13 December will not be able to enter Maroba until further notice. Depending on the evolving Covid-19 situation, this could be for at least 14 days.  Exceptions on a case by case basis will be made for palliative end of life care.

Note: Maroba has classed the cream area as Greater Sydney.
