Maroba Caring Communities is a long-established aged care facility that has been servicing the elderly in the Newcastle region for over 65 years. Our retirement living complex, Maroba Terrace was opened in 1999 as we saw a need for accommodation that catered for the older independent person that wished to be part of a retirement village community and have the comfort of home, in the knowledge that medical services were readily available.
Our Terrace villas have been designed for privacy, comfort and security. They each have an abundance of natural light, high-quality finishes and open up onto leafy courtyards/manicured gardens.
Maroba’s retirement village is close to public transport, numerous shopping centres, restaurants, clubs, hospitals, Newcastle’s beaches and CBD. It also sits adjacent to Maroba’s residential aged care accommodation and facilities which allows for 24/7 access to medical support if needed and a full range of additional services.

Our accommodation
Maroba provide a range of retirement accommodation options for residents.
The Terrace Village has 23 two and three-bedroom villas, featuring open plan living, spacious bathroom, functional modern kitchen, large private outdoor areas, and generous storage. All villas/units are air-conditioned and the majority have single car garages, some with automatic garage doors.
With a North/East aspect, the villas/units are light-filled with an abundance of fresh air.
