January sees us celebrating all things Australian – with an Australia Day party and concert, reminiscing, cooking lamingtons and plenty of Aussie music.
We will receive a visit in January from the Senior Rights Advocacy Group on January 6th, which will be great opportunity for residents to learn more about their rights and having their voices heard.
January also sees the start of our new Maroba Theatre Group, new Men’s Group in the Manor and new Hymnsing with Hannah.
We are also trialing Bingo being on at the same time for both the Manor and Lodge -ie. Manor residents play in the Manor, while Lodge residents play in the Lodge. I will be gathering feedback on this to see if it is successful.
Lastly, our monthly Manor Vs Lodge Shuffleboard Competition is sure to be a big show-down!
