Dear Maroba Community,
Please be advised that tree loppers will be back onsite on Tuesday 25th August 2026, and will be working on two gum trees near Nobbys on the carpark side.
We ask that residents and visitors do not use the smoking areas from 6:30am – 4pm. Staff will assist residents and visitors with another smoking environment for the day.
We also ask that families and visitors do not park in the 3 parking spaces to the left of the disabled parking looking back to the manor. This will allow the tree lopper to have parking and room to remove the tree branches.
The first tree on the right looking back to the building will have the bulk of the tree removed due to the trunk hollowing out and posing a risk. Bird boxes will be placed on the trunk to allow fauna that used this tree to be able to return and breed.
The next gum tree to the left will only have two large limbs that are over hanging Nobbys be removed as this tree is healthy and poses no risk.
We apologise for any inconvenience, and we are looking forward to making the environment safer and being able to put in bird boxes to protect the fauna.
